Tour Plan
A guide picks you up from your hotel and takes you to the pier. You board a wooden boat for a 20-30 minute ride to Prison Island. At the prison island take a tour of the old prison buildings, learning about the island's past as a holding pen for enslaved people and later a quarantine facility. Also you may interact with the large, aged Aldabra giant tortoises at the sanctuary and feed them (an extra charge may apply).
