Overview
The Lemosho Route is widely regarded as the most scenic and well-balanced path to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895m) — Africa’s highest peak. This route begins on the western side of the mountain, passing through lush rainforests, vast heather and moorland zones, alpine deserts, and finally to the glacial summit of Uhuru Peak.
With gradual altitude gain, breathtaking views, and fewer crowds, the Lemosho Route offers one of the best chances of successful acclimatization and summit achievement.
