The Marangu Route, often called the “Coca-Cola Route,” is one of the most popular paths to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, offering comfortable hut accommodations along the way.
Unlike other routes, Marangu allows for a gradual ascent and descent on the same trail, making it ideal for trekkers seeking a shorter yet steady climb with added comfort.

Tour Plan
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Moshi for a briefing and gear check.
Transfer to Marangu Gate and start your trek through lush tropical rainforest. Expect to spot Colobus monkeys and exotic birds.
Ascend through the moorland zone with stunning views of Mawenzi Peak through giant heathers and open grasslands.
Full day at Horombo Hut for acclimatization. Short hike to Mawenzi Ridge or Zebra Rocks.
Trek through alpine desert terrain, passing the Last Water Point before climbing to Kibo Hut at the foot of the summit cone.
Start your summit push at midnight, ascending to Gilman's Point then Uhuru Peak. Witness a breathtaking sunrise from the summit before descending to Horombo Hut.
Descend through the lush rainforest back to Marangu Gate, where you'll receive your summit certificate.
