Tour Plan
On this day, you will arrive at Zanzibar International Airport. Upon arrival, you will meet our driver just outside the arrivals area, where they will be holding a sign with your name. Your pick-up will be arranged according to your flight details. You will be asked to provide your flight information when confirming the package. The transfer to the hotel is included at no extra cost.
This will be a full-day sailing experience through the mangroves and snorkelling around Menai Bay, one of Zanzibar's finest coral reef areas. You will sail to Kwale Island, relax on a sandbank, and enjoy swimming and snorkelling in the clear waters. Indulge in a delicious fresh seafood barbecue, including octopus, lobster, squid, calamari, fish, and more. You will also enjoy a selection of exotic fresh fruits such as bananas, watermelon, pineapple, mangoes, and others.
On this day, you will explore the rich history and culture of the local people with a professional tour guide while walking through Stone Town, visiting some of its most famous and historic landmarks. Later, you will head to Prison Island, where you can see and take photos of the impressive Aldabra giant tortoise, while also learning about the island's brief history.
Enjoy swimming with dolphins and capturing stunning photos. Go snorkelling and observe a variety of colourful tropical fish, corals, and other marine life. Explore the vibrant coral reefs and rich marine ecosystem surrounding Mnemba Island. This half-day experience will also introduce you to the other side of Zanzibar's north coast, including Matemwe Beach.
Enjoy playful encounters with the unique Red Colobus Monkey, which is found only in the Zanzibar Islands. Discover a variety of other fascinating species that live in Jozani Forest. Learn how herbs are used in Zanzibari culture and traditions. During the spice farm tour, you will enjoy a tasty locally prepared spiced rice meal at the farm, served with fresh fish and tropical fruits such as bananas, mangoes, and pineapples. You can experience a variety of local spices by tasting and smelling them, including Cardamom, Cinnamon, Black Pepper, and Cloves, among others.
Nungwi Natural Aquarium on Zanzibar is best appreciated when embarking on a guided tour. Tourists can dive into the marine world at Nungwi Natural Aquarium on North Zanzibar! You will fall in love with dynamic coral, notice sea turtles in the natural flowing Aquarium, and have the opportunity to discover over 500 species from all around the Indian Ocean. Appreciate this engaging and instructive half-day trip and become familiar with sea life. Nungwi, located on the northern tip of Zanzibar, is renowned as one of the island's premier locations for viewing spectacular sunsets. Because of its location, it avoids the drastic low tides that affect the east coast, ensuring stunning water views during the evening golden hour. The wide sandy beaches are perfect for a late afternoon walk, offering unobstructed views of the sun sinking into the ocean.
On this day, you will have plenty of time to relax at the resort, sunbathe, and enjoy the sunset from the beach.
After eight days of your Zanzibar holiday, this is the day you will return home by flight. A driver will pick you up from the hotel according to your flight schedule. We hope you leave with many wonderful memories and a few souvenirs as well.
