This will be a full-day sailing excursion as you explore the mangrove areas and enjoy snorkelling around Menai Bay, one of the most beautiful coral reef locations in Zanzibar. Prison Island is otherwise called Changuu Island. The name "Prison Island" came after this special island being utilized by certain Sultans of Zanzibar to keep the adamant slaves. Changuu Island is found around 25 to 30 minutes boat ride from Stone Town. A Stone Town walking tour explores the cultural influences from Arab, Persian, Indian, and European civilizations. Guided tours allow you to navigate its labyrinthine alleys to discover key landmarks like the Old Fort, House of Wonders, Darajani Market, and the Sultan's Palace, providing insights into the rich history, from the slave trade to its bustling present-day markets.

Explore the vibrant coral reefs and rich marine ecosystem surrounding Mnemba Island. This half-day experience will also introduce you to the other side of Zanzibar's north coast. Nungwi Natural Aquarium on Zanzibar is best appreciated when embarking on a guided tour! You will fall in love with dynamic coral, notice sea turtles in the natural flowing Aquarium, and have the opportunity to discover over 500 species from all around the Indian Ocean. Nungwi, located on the northern tip of Zanzibar, is renowned as one of the island's premier locations for viewing spectacular sunsets. Because of its location, it avoids the drastic low tides that affect the east coast, ensuring stunning water views during the evening golden hour. The wide sandy beaches are perfect for a late afternoon walk, offering unobstructed views of the sun sinking into the ocean.

Enjoy playful encounters with the unique Red Colobus Monkey, which is found only in the Zanzibar Islands. Discover a variety of other fascinating species that live in Jozani Forest. Learn how herbs are used in Zanzibar culture and traditions.
